从 约拿 书 四 章 2 节 看 经 文 本 如 何 相 互 参 照 与 解 释

约拿是一位成功的先知，但他对神发出悲痛的抱怨，似乎是一种不相称的反应。他说：耶和华啊，我在本国的时候，岂不是这样说吗？我知道你是有恩典、有怜悯的神，不轻易发怒，有丰盛的慈爱，并且后悔不降所说的灾，所以我急速逃往他施去（拿四2）1 。约拿的宣布，跟旧约一些地方所表达神严厉的属性不同；旧约中对神普遍的观念是神要求人完全顺服，否则就要面对严重的审判；这点跟新约对神的描述也不一样。而约拿对神显然有另一种见解。 |
若要问约拿怎么会有这样的信念，答案就在眼前。约拿是一连串圣经真理启示的领受者，这些启示表明耶和华不仅是一位用圣洁和公义管理世界的神，祂也是一位有恩典、有怜悯的神，伴随着祂的，就是忍耐和宽宏的属性。祂伸手帮助贫乏的人，并期望人得到最好的。因此，约拿能够理解并对早已认识的启示作出响应。
约拿的个案，凸显圣经作者利用较早期的圣经文本，是一个当时已有的事实。新约作者大量选用旧约经文，是近期新约多册经文注释中，也直接、间接有所讨论的2。
我们必须留意，在约拿书中，后期的旧约作者借用了早期的数据源。就如比尔（Beale）和卡森（Carson）所言：「在旧约里使用旧约」。因此，马森（Mason）称之为「内在圣经注释」，他指出：「顾名思义，这种方法本身所显示的是重新使用、重新解释、重新应用早期旧约的文本」。
旧约中互相参照引用旧约经文的例子
旧约的先知书中，可以看到许多使用前期资料的例子。其中一个例子就是西番雅使用约珥的数据，如下表所示：

值得注意的是，西番雅书使用的词汇，也可在约珥书中找到：
14节「临近」 (参珥一15，二，三14[HB 4:14]—「临近/将到」) ；「大日」 (参珥二11，二31[HB 3:4] - 大而可畏的日子)
15节「黑暗」 (参珥二2、31[HB三4]) ； 「幽冥」 (参珥二2) ；「密云」 (参珥二2) ；「乌黑」 (参珥二2)
16节「吹角」 (参珥二1、15)
18节「这地的一切居民」 (参珥二1，「国中的居民」)
西番雅书使用的题材、主题和词汇，明显是依赖约珥的预言。而且像其他较后期的作者一样，西番雅将早期先知约珥的预言扩展了。
同样，何西阿书六章6节似乎是引用撒母耳的声明（撒上十五22～23）：「以色列昏乱的信仰，与及已死的传统得不到神的喜悦。」若将两卷书并排，关系是显而易见的：
